Syedi Abdeali Imaduddin RA states in a couplet:
“Deen and dunya correspond to one another. They complement each other like two ends of a balance scale.”⚖️
Delineating the fundamental principle in art, in the Rasaail of Ikhwaan al-Safaa’, Maulana al-Imam Ahmed al-Mastur states that “a piece of art can only be truly appreciated when it is in harmony with 𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘣𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘧𝘥𝘩𝘢𝘭, the highest order, and it is 𝘮𝘢𝘶𝘻𝘰𝘰𝘯, well balanced and well proportioned. Otherwise it is incomplete”.
Elaborating the meaning of 𝘮𝘢𝘶𝘻𝘰𝘰𝘯, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS expressed, "If your literature, disciplines and crafts are able to represent the ideals and meanings of purposeful existence and guide you towards the hereafter, then they are truly beneficial and balanced."
The 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝗪𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰 is geometrically re-constructed to scale on paper. The inter twining biomorphic design in the grill center represents the well proportioned and well balanced literature, disciplines or crafts. The base represents 𝘥𝘶𝘯𝘺𝘢, the world. The apex points towards 𝘢𝘬𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘩, the hereafter, where all your efforts should culminate to.
This is also suggestive of how our 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘯, faith, and 𝘥𝘶𝘯𝘺𝘢, material existence, can be balanced. Whatever we aim to attain from our knowledge and expertise can be linked to a 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘪𝘺𝘢h, a higher more selfless intention. What are some examples of how you personally find a higher meaning in your work or service?
